Strangers burn two trucks, a pickup truck, and machinery in San Juan de la Costa

Anarson attacktook place on Thursday night in the locality ofSan Juan de la Costa, Los Lagos Region. According to preliminary information provided by Carabineros, the incident occurred around 9:24 p.m. in the La Cumbre sector, on Route U-400, 23 kilometers from Osorno.

"A call was received (...) from the supervisor of a forestry company (...) reportingexplosions that were occurring", stated the uniformed police.

"Carabineros arrived at the scene and confirmed on-site that there weretwo burned trucks, as well as a pickup truck and a piece of machinery", declared Carabineros.

Firefighters from Puaucho and San Juan de La Costa worked at the affected property, reportedly owned by Forestal Anchile.

By order of the Public Prosecutor's Office, the investigation of the incident was handed over to the Investigative Police (PDI).
