Industrialized Housing Plant in Lautaro Would Benefit Small and Medium-Sized Timber Businesses in Bío Bío Province
Small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) in the Bío Bío province could benefit from the establishment of an industrialized housing plant in the commune of Lautaro.
This follows the recent inauguration of a factory for industrialized housing in the commune, which incorporates technology and various systems to optimize production and minimize waste.
In this context, Mario Zerega, president of the Chilean Chamber of Construction in Los Ángeles, stated that the opening of this industrialized housing factory could benefit many SMEs associated with the timber industry in Los Ángeles and the Bío Bío province.
He also highlighted the proximity of this plant to the commune of Los Ángeles, noting that it will allow easy access to address various housing projects.
It is worth mentioning that authorities have stated this plant—recently inaugurated in Lautaro's industrial park—is considered the most modern in Latin America and the second in this category worldwide.
