Arson attack paralyzes activities at farm in Lautaro

In a violent incident that disrupted the peace of the La Araucanía region, the Miraflores Farm, located in the commune of Lautaro, was the scene of an arson attack on Tuesday morning. According to reports from Radio Bío Bío, armed individuals threatened the farm's staff before proceeding to burn agricultural machinery, prompting an intense manhunt by authorities to apprehend those responsible.
The event took place on the route to Vilcún, where the assailants, after intimidating workers with firearms, set several pieces of equipment ablaze before attempting a hasty escape. The swift police response forced the attackers to abandon a vehicle and continue their flight on foot toward nearby wooded areas.
Carabineros de Chile, with the support of a helicopter, advanced into the area to locate those involved in this criminal act. The search operation remains ongoing, and no arrests have been reported so far.
