New arson attack in La Araucanía: three trucks and a crane burned on farm in Los Sauces

A new arson attack was reported this Wednesday in the La Araucanía region, specifically in the commune of Los Sauces.

This violent incident occurred in the Las Rosas sector, inside the Rinconada farm.

Lieutenant Colonel Aldo Vittini of the Malleco prefecture reported that around 5:30 PM, while a group of workers was carrying out forestry tasks, at least two masked individuals carrying long guns entered the farm.

The hooded men fired shots into the air to intimidate the workers and then burned three trucks and a crane. After that, they fled in an unknown direction.

Under the instructions of the Public Prosecutor's Office, the Investigative Police took charge of the procedures to identify those responsible.
