La Araucanía: Authorities Investigate Arson Attack That Destroyed Agricultural Machinery on Farm in Los Sauces

The Investigative Police carried out procedures at the Rinconada de Los Sauces farm in the La Araucanía region following an arson attack in which agricultural machinery was destroyed by unknown individuals.
This is the second attack carried out in the same area in less than 10 days. In this case, it resulted in the destruction of a tractor valued at 42 million pesos, as well as a hay baler and a lawnmower.
In response, Commissioner Patricio Ibáñez of the Special Police Investigations and Anti-Kidnapping Brigade (BIPE) in Angol stated that an undetermined group of individuals carried out the crime.
It should be noted that no banners or pamphlets from any organization claiming responsibility for the incident were found at the scene.
At the same time, it is not ruled out that this attack may be related to another one recorded on the same farm on January 15 of this year.
