Man arrested for starting forest fire while working with electric grinder in Quilpué
A man for starting a forest fire in the commune of Quilpué, in the Valparaíso region.
Specifically, Carabineros from the Forest Patrol of the Marga Marga Prefecture arrived at Avenida del Romeral at the Colliguay intersection, where it was confirmed that an adult male was performing cutting work with an electric grinder.

This was done without the corresponding safety measures, thus causing a grassland fire that affected an area of 100 square meters.
It should be noted that the incident left no injured people, nor caused damage to nearby houses.
The detainee, 54 years old with no criminal record, was placed at the disposal of the Public Ministry; the agency ordered that he attend a detention control hearing this Sunday.
