At Acoforag, we believe every forest story deserves to be told. Today we share that of Nolberto Pardo, a forestry driver who has made the steering wheel and the forest his way of life.

Every dawn, Nolberto begins his day traveling the rural roads of southern Chile. His mission: to transport pine and eucalyptus wood from forestry operations to collection centers and industrial plants. On each trip, he not only carries logs but also the fruit of many hands' labor. His work connects territories, communities, and industries, making him an essential link within the forestry chain.

But for Nolberto, the forest is not just his workplace but part of his own story. "The forest is part of you," he states calmly. "Every load we carry represents the effort of many, but also a natural resource we must care for. We must respect it because we all live from it."

His testimony reflects a consciousness that goes beyond the trade. In times when sustainability is a priority, men like Nolberto remind us that the forestry sector is also built with commitment, respect, and pride in what we do.

"You learn to love the road, the machine, the scent of pine. But above all, you learn to value what the forest gives us," he says, while preparing his truck for a new day.

From Acoforag, we will continue highlighting stories like his: tales that show the human side of forestry work, where effort, identity, and respect for nature intertwine with every kilometer traveled.
