Machinery Burned in Arson Attack in Contulmo

An arson attack was recorded on the morning of this Wednesday at an Arauco forestry property in the commune of Contulmo, in the Biobío Region. A message signed by the Weichan Auka Mapu (WAM) organization was found at the scene.
This incident occurred specifically at the El Peral property, where unknown individuals set fire to two trucks and a Bell-type machine and caused damage to a pickup truck's windshield.
The perpetrators also allegedly stole a vehicle that was inside the work site.
Police personnel who responded to the emergency location found a statement from WAM with the following message: "Miguel Llanquileo, Luis Tranamil. Alex Lemun, Yordan LLempi, Camilo Catrillanca, Ercik Montoya, Alejandro Liguen, Mapuche justice. Our objective is the Wallmapu."
