The Directorate of Public Works (Vialidad) reported that, in coordination with the company CMPC and maintenance crews, controlled tree felling works will be carried out between kilometers 8 and 9.5 of Ruta de la Madera.

These tasks, aimed at improving road safety and preventing accidents caused by falling vegetation, will continue until mid-June.

As detailed by Vialidad, the works will take place from 08:20 to 18:00, with alternating vehicular traffic regulated by flaggers on-site. There will also be traffic controllers and special signage to guide drivers.

Authorities urged road users to respect the signage and instructions from on-site personnel to prevent accidents and expedite travel times along this affected stretch.
