Weapons and ammunition seized during operation in rural area of Ercilla

PDI personnel managed to seize weapons and ammunition in a rural area of Ercilla, in the La Araucanía region.
According to information from Radio Bío Bío, the operation took place in the community of Chequenco, where bulletproof vests and stolen items, including vehicles, were also found.
This seizure is part of an investigation being carried out by the Public Prosecutor's Office for crimes of violent robbery, robbery with intimidation, and vehicle theft.
During the procedure, conducted by the Angol Theft Investigation Brigade of the civil police, 50 million pesos worth of items were seized.
This is a result of the aforementioned crimes.
So far, no arrests have been reported in connection with the operation carried out in a rural area of Ercilla.
