Prosecutor's Office classifies investigation into attack in Victoria that left worker murdered as "secret"
This Wednesday afternoon, the Public Ministry declared the investigation seeking to locate those who murdered a forest patrol officer and left another injured after an armed attack in Victoria, La Araucanía region, as secret.
This was confirmed by Radio Bío Bío, which detailed that the measure adopted by the Prosecutor's Office is to prevent the leakage of information that could harm the investigative lines being followed by personnel from Carabineros' OS9 and Labocar Temuco.
It is worth recalling that due to this violent incident, Manuel León Urra, a 60-year-old worker providing watch services for the company CMPC, lost his life, along with César Osorio, 50 years old, who ended up with three bullet wounds.

As a result, Osorio is hospitalized at Clínica Alemana. It should also be added that after the first images of the attack emerged, La Radio was able to corroborate how the events unfolded.
It involved a group of at least four individuals with long weapons, who approached the rear of the pickup truck in which both patrol officers were traveling on the night of Saturday the 23rd, at a logging operation at Fundo Los Prados in the Selva Oscura sector of Victoria.
The unknown individuals began shooting as the vehicle started moving in an attempt to flee. It was at that moment that Osorio tried to climb into the pickup bed to take cover, but the gunfire did not stop.
Thus, the worker received at least three ballistic impacts to the back and then fell from the vehicle. At the end of the video recording the incident, the pickup is seen veering to the side; it was at that moment that the driver (Manuel León Urra) was shot in the head.
