Since its arrival in the Chilean market, FC Ventas y Servicios Ltda., under the management of Vesa Rontynen, has marked a milestone in the introduction of specialized forestry machinery.
The history of the ProSilva brand in Chile began in 2007, when the company first brought in the model 810 machinery, a model that quickly became a benchmark for efficiency and maneuverability. "From the very beginning, we saw that the machine could deliver outstanding results, which is why we dedicated ourselves to presenting and selling it until 2014," recalls Rontynen.
With the experience gained, FC Ventas, located at kilometer 410 of Route 5, Chillán, expanded its offering by incorporating other brands and models. Then, in 2025, it resumed representation of Prosilva with new models: S3, S4, S5, and S6, solidifying its bond with the brand and reaffirming its presence in the Chilean market. "We are currently the official representatives in Chile and continue to serve only this market, although we are looking with interest at other regions in South America," explains Rontynen.
New model
One of the most notable models is the S3 4x4, a harvester designed to optimize complex tasks, such as thinning in forests with little space to maneuver. With front and rear tires 600/65-34, a length of 6,540 mm and a width of 2,700 mm, it offers a turning angle of 44° and an outer turning radius of 6,550 mm, guaranteeing maneuverability and precision in tight spaces.
Its Cummins B6.7 engine, 6 cylinders, 6.7 liters, 186 kW of power and 1,152 Nm of torque, enables efficient operations with lower fuel consumption.
The S3 4x4 integrates hydrostatic transmission, a traction force of 192 kN, and a variable speed of 0–22 km/h, while its hydraulic system of 448 l/min at 1,800 rpm ensures consistent performance. Among its advantages are the cabin synchronized to rotate with the crane, automatic leveling on slopes, an ergonomic joystick, and Parker IQAN computer control systems, all designed to maximize operator comfort and work efficiency.
Furthermore, FC Ventas offers a comprehensive service, including sales, spare parts, mechanical assistance, and training, ensuring complete support for customers. "We know the maintenance and operating costs of these machines, which allows us to offer reliable and efficient solutions," highlights Rontynen.
