Arson attack confirmed after two trucks burned in Collipulli: Carabineros guard the route

On Wednesday, two trucks were burned in an arson attack in Collipulli, La Araucanía region.
The emergency occurred at kilometer 30 towards the Temehue sector, in the province of Malleco, requiring the response of firefighters.
According to information confirmed by La Radio, at least two masked and armed individuals traveling in a pickup truck intercepted a cargo vehicle and forced the driver out before setting it on fire.
Then, using the same modus operandi, they stopped another truck at kilometer 31, dousing it with accelerant to also set it ablaze.
Carabineros personnel arrived at the scene, where they noted a sign with messages alluding to the Mapuche cause.
At the moment, public order police officers are guarding the route to facilitate the work of firefighting units following the arson attack.
