An arson attack was carried out by unknown individuals on a property located on Route R-444, at kilometer 12, in the Las Rosas sector, along the road connecting Lumaco with Los Sauces, in the La Araucanía Region.

A group of intruders broke into the San Patricio estate in the early hours of the morning with incendiary devices and burned 15 parked vehicles, including four trucks, four excavators, and two pickup trucks.

The report was made this morning by the estate workers, who confirmed the losses caused by the intentional fire.

There were no reports of injuries.

Public Order Control personnel and officers from the 1st Police Station of Angol arrived at the scene, confirming the attack.

No pamphlets or banners from radical groups claiming responsibility for the incident were found.

"Today, an undetermined group of masked individuals, armed with weapons, proceeded to intimidate a group of workers from a regional company, later setting fire to vehicles, including excavators and pickup trucks. They then fled the scene," stated Commander César Leiva of the Malleco Prefecture of Carabineros.

The Public Prosecutor's Office was informed of the situation and ordered the Special Police Investigations Brigade (Bipe) of Angol's PDI to carry out the necessary procedures at the scene during the day.

The San Patricio estate spans 1,000 hectares and currently has no police protection.

The property reportedly has no insurance coverage following the multi-million-dollar loss.
