Two trucks burned during arson attack in Collipulli
Two trucks were burned on Thursday afternoon in a new arson attack in the commune of Collipulli, in the La Araucanía region.
The incident occurred at kilometer 16 on the road to the San Andrés sector, an area surrounded by dense forests.
According to preliminary information gathered by Radio Bío Bío in Temuco, unidentified individuals intercepted the trucks before setting them on fire.
The cargo vehicles, which were engaged in forestry work, were loaded with stacked timber.
Personnel from Carabineros' Public Order Control arrived at the scene of the attack and, after securing the area, allowed Collipulli Fire Department units to arrive.
As of the closing of this report, no injuries have been reported as a result of this new arson attack.
