One injured in armed attack on workers in Lautaro: perpetrators burned vehicle and machinery

A group of armed individuals shot at a truck transporting workers, then proceeded to burn the vehicle and machinery in Lautaro, in theLa Araucanía region.

According to information gathered by Radio Bío Bío in Temuco, the workers were intercepted while traveling along the route to Cherquenco, near the Peu Peu bridge, where they were fired upon.

As a result of the attack, one worker was injured by shattered glass after a bullet struck one of the windows, as confirmed by Carabineros.

Meanwhile, after the workers exited the vehicle, the attackers set it on fire. But that wasn't all—they also ignited forestry machinery located at the El Mirador estate.
