Criminals burned a bus transporting a group of forestry workers in Collipulli,La Araucanía region.
The incident occurred during the morning of this Saturday on a rural road in the Bajo Malleco area. There, an undetermined number of hooded individuals intimidated the driver of the vehicle to stop.
As explained by Major Fernando Mella, service prefect ofCarabinerosof Malleco, the subjects forced the passengers to exit the bus and then set the vehicle on fire, which belonged to the company Safco.
The details of the case were handed over to thePublic Ministry, which instructed specialized teams from Carabineros—Labocar and OS-9—to investigate the incident.
On the other hand, no injuries were reported as a result of the attack. Additionally, it was noted that there are no arrests so far.
