Hooded individuals burned trucks and a crane in property in Popoén locality, Osorno province

Carabineros personnel are in the locality of Popoén, toward the coast of the Río Negro commune in Osorno province, where at least six hooded individuals entered a property and burned machinery.

The incident occurred specifically on Route U-530, at kilometer 26.

Four logging trucks and a crane were reported burned at the scene.

This case of rural violence is still unfolding, and firefighters have been called to extinguish the flames resulting from this arson attack.

So far, there are no injuries. According to La Radio, the incident has already been reported to the Public Prosecutor's Office.

The investigation is taking place in a highly rural and hard-to-access area, where cell phone coverage does not reach.

Meanwhile, the provincial presidential delegate of Osorno, Claudia Pailalef, told La Radio that "Carabineros are currently in the area. Security measures have been implemented."
