Platform Developed by INFOR Aims to Inform About Pellet Quality in Chile

Pellets are a type of fuel classified as solid biomass. They are made from the waste generated during the wood sawing process. For this reason, and to strengthen the biofuels industry, the Forestry Institute (INFOR) of the Ministry of Agriculture will implement an informational platform at its Biobío headquarters aimed at producers and civil society, promoting quality and sustainability in the pellet value chain in the region.
