In the lush temperate forests of southern Chile and bordering areas of Argentina lives the tiny Darwin's frog (Rhinoderma darwinii), an endemic species of our country, inhabiting regions from Biobío to Los Lagos. Rarely exceeding 5 centimeters in length, this unique amphibian has a pointed nose and skin coloration ranging from green to brown, allowing it to camouflage among leaves and other natural elements of its habitat.
