Authorities reported that La Araucanía is under a Red Alert awaiting the sentencing of the leader of the Arauco Malleco Coordinating Group, Héctor Llaitul.

This was announced during Monday's police committee meeting by the acting regional provincial delegate, Andrea Parra, who confirmed a full-capacity special deployment in various points of the region.

It should be noted that the Prosecutor's Office is seeking a 25-year prison sentence for the leader of the Arauco Malleco Coordinating Group, declared guilty of various crimes under the State Security Law.
