The court declared inadmissible the complaint filed by the Association of Municipalities of Nonguén Park, which asked the Prosecutor's Office to investigate and determine responsibilities for the fire that affected the so-called green lung of Greater Concepción.
The lawyer for the municipality of Concepción, Rodrigo Díaz, explained that the ruling of the Guarantee Court did not consider the association as a victim, a view they clearly do not share.
Therefore, the municipal legal chief advanced, they will ask the Concepción Court of Appeals to reconsider the stance and declare the Association of Municipalities a party in the investigation requested from the Public Prosecutor's Office.
The inadmissibility of the complaint contradicts the ruling that admitted the Municipality of Concepción as a complainant for the attack on Fire Department personnel on January 20th, during the firefighting efforts in the Puente 3 area on the road to Florida.
