Detectives from the Robbery Investigation Brigade (Biro) of Chillán managed to recover forestry machinery valued at over 120 million pesos, which was stored on a plot of land located in the commune of Cabrero, Biobío Region.
The head of Biro Chillán, Subprefect Rodrigo Briones Ramos, stated that "within the investigative process carried out jointly with the SAC Prosecutor's Office of the Ñuble Region for crimes of robbery in an inhabited place, specifically with the modus operandi where individuals enter plot sectors to steal preferably vehicles parked inside, it is within the analysis of these cases under investigation that the identity of a suspect was established, who resides in the Biobío Region and has a criminal record for the same crime."
With this information, the detectives managed, through the Public Prosecutor's Office, the respective search and entry warrant for a property located in the commune of Cabrero, which was carried out by detectives from this specialized brigade, successfully locating the new industrial machinery, which has an approximate value of 120 million pesos and was stolen in May in the city of San Antonio. Likewise, a 25-ton wood splitter machine was found, valued at over 2 million pesos.
In this way, the detectives continue carrying out investigative procedures for the respective formalization of those responsible for these events.
