New arson attack affects a pickup truck on a Collipulli route

A new arson attack was recorded during the morning of this Friday in the commune of Collipulli, La Araucanía Region, where unknown individuals intercepted a vehicle used by workers of a security company and then set it on fire.

According to preliminary information, the incident occurred at around 8:30 a.m. at kilometer 44 of Route 49. At that location, two individuals traveling in a white Mitsubishi L200 pickup truck allegedly intercepted two workers from the company Green América, who were traveling in a Nissan pickup truck.

The individuals allegedly intimidated the workers and forced them to get out of the vehicle. Subsequently, they set the pickup truck on fire and fled the scene.

COP personnel from Carabineros arrived at the site, where they found the vehicle completely in flames and with total damage as a result of the fire.

Likewise, Carabineros personnel from Curaco went to the scene to carry out the first procedures and gather evidence to clarify the circumstances of the attack and establish the identity of those responsible.

This incident adds to a series of violent episodes recorded in different parts of the Macrozona Sur.
