Investigation underway into new arson attack in Río Bueno

In the early hours of Monday, May 1, a new arson attack was reported in the Las Quemas sector of the commune of Río Bueno, where an excavator was burned on the property.

In response, prosecutor Rodrigo San Martín instructed the Special Police Investigations Brigade (BIPE) and forensic experts from the PDI's Criminalistics Laboratory to carry out the necessary procedures and identify those responsible for the act. Additionally, a banner claiming responsibility for the Mapuche cause was found at the scene.
